A gallery already exists. It unlocks after you finish the game at least once and is available from the title screen. This game is built around the autosave system, so I don't think that it will go away. Manual backups of saves are possible for players who want to edit the save data, but I don't want it to be a core part of the game. Quitting the game in the middle of a fight will not autosave your progress, so that's another way that you can get around the autosaves if you want to cheat a little.
I think that it's very likely that there will be some animations in the future.
While a direct sequel to this game isn't planned, there will be a new and somewhat similar strategy game from me later this year. I think that fans of Monster Monsoon will enjoy it!
