seems like skin color alpha is set to 0 (which makes skin transparent)
can you change the skin color?

Okay. I have updated the shader on 1.55a. Tested this issue and it seems to be ok. I will publish that by 31st. (Its on early access - patreons. I have added some other stuff as well.)
