Bump – I came here wondering the same thing. There's a bug with Discord status on Mac (it just doesn't show up.)
Development is pretty active on Discord judging by all the upstream commits, and you can buy access to alpha/nightly builds on Discord for a few bucks a month. Guess they gotta make money somehow. Fingers crossed there's a new build pushed to Itch soon because I see a lot of cool features in the oven on Twitter/Discord
