Any designer can do is base himself on images of armor that exist in museums or old books. This was my case. Probably the Dark Souls designers did similar research to create the game's models. In this case, as the original source is free (eg: history books, museum collections) if the designer derives from them, there will be no copyright issues. When I made the model, I made it with the intention of selling it. So I can't copy brands and designs from other creators. It is part of the license of sites that sell models.
