Here on itch is where we host our experimental game in all it's forms; Windows, Mac, and Linux. 2 weeks ago we added Android to our collection. I think I can see the point being made in this thread now; that the mobile version is being mistaken under the "Name your own price" umbrella. I've talked with our team and we have removed it. I hope that clears up the confusion.

If you are a new user looking for the mobile version it will be found on our developer version page here:

or you could put a demo then a link to your patreon like ever other creator on the platform. You could also warn its a patreon only version before you make us sign up

This isn't that hard to figure out. Have a demo here with a link to the patreon with full version on it

VS

a game that does nothing that you have to make an account for to get told you have to go to the patreon to get the full version

Your concern is noted, but the information you're seeking is right in front of you. It's available on the SOULCOOM Demo page, the SOULCOOM Developer Edition page, and even in the comment you're responding to. This is also the SOULCOOM Demo Community page by the way. Perhaps a closer look at the game page here will unravel your bafflement. If this directive still seems muddled, do inform me, and I'm more than willing to help enhance its visibility.

alright why couldn't you just put the full game download on your patreon? Like every other creator does that.... I've only see this kinda of system used on an indie game once...it's unnecessary. I don't want to have to give you my email to play the game. Just put the full version on your patreon for the amount you want

We're indie devs, fiercely protective of our game and backers. Our server keeps it exclusive. If it's not your thing, move on.

Every other dev here that has a patreon is indie.... and with all of those I'm able to try the game before I buy it. I also don't see very much piracy. Majalis doesn't use drm and has 5k backers

Impressive example. Looks like a great game. I suppose each developer does things differently. Thanks for pointing that out. The reality is: our desktop version is available for free at this link: https://soulcoom.itch.io/soulcoom and if you want to access Patron perks within the game, then please support our work to unlock them. Otherwise, why are you still complaining? Let's move forward.

ight lust cupid. The same concept of game has 1k backer, and you don't have to pay to get access to mobile. Demo on here, other version on patreon. If you can't figure out why people are annoyed that's on you

ALSO if you have issue with me voicing my concerns. Simply don't respond and move on yourself

This is our game page, and I'm here to assist. I believe I can learn from everyone, even you.

Seems like you're frustrated and hoping for the mobile game to be free too. It's a no for today, but perhaps tomorrow will bring a different answer. Currently, a monthly subscription is required for mobile access to our game. It's our way of crowdfunding our experimental game and maintaining our quality standards. While we may adjust the price later, the mobile version serves as a reward to our backers' who are supporting the development of our game. Our interactive experience is truly one-of-a-kind and I invite you to join us - for less than the price of a Popsicle ($3.69 USD) you can enjoy our unique approach to interactive physics from the comfort of your phone.

Any further concerns regarding pricing should be directed onto our Discord support forum here: https://discord.gg/FSNdJrNwPH
