Hello! First of all, thank you for Hypno.exe, I wanted to try making hypnosis files for a long time and had no idea what to use and how to do it!
However, I tried using the import image feature but I couldn't make it work. I can select images and I see the preview of them on the top left, but then no matter how much I try to "apply" them, it doesn't seem to work. I tried loading them from different files in and out of the software folders, different sizes, different image types, and so on...

Do you have a quick tutorial on how to import images? Or quick tips on how it works?

Hope you'll be able to help me, have a great day!

Hi there, thank you for your kind words! It really means a lot to me.

As to your query: without knowing what you are using Hypno.exe on it is very hard to say.

Could you let me know:

  • If you are on Windows/Linux/OSX
  • Send me some stuff (on Discord, there is a handy button in the bottom right of the Hypno.exe main menu. If that is not viable to you reach out in a DM on your social media of choice and we will work it out) - the image in question (so long as you are comfortable doing so) - a .hypno export of the program itself, ideally after you have tried to import the image in question. You can find a guide on how to do this in the Sharing Programs topic on this itch page.

And finally:

This version of Hypno.exe will be retired Soon(TM) when I finish rebuilding it from scratch; something made necessary to better support image imports. As such, if you can wait a while, the newest version will feature much more stable image (and audio) importing.

Again, thank you for your support and encouragement, I hope you will continue to enjoy Hypno.exe and the activities it enables.

Hello! Thank you for answering this quick!

I am on Windows 10.
I don't mind reaching to you in DM to find a solution, but if you're going to release an overhaul soon, then maybe it's not worth the headache trying to make it work on this version.

So, I think I'll just wait for the new version and try again when it comes out. Do you have a vague idea of when you'll release it? In like 1/2 months or longer than that? (I don't mean to rush you or anything! It's just to have a general idea of when it should come out)

Thanks again, and good luck on your programming!

lllleeeeoooo, a switch in desperate need of hypnosis :)

(Also, if you're curious, I was trying to make a Yelan file :) )
