The word you'd be looking for is makeshift, or slapped together, hamfisted is usualy in terms of how someone is acting, and means their using power to get their way, physical or otherwise.
So you have the knowldge of how the system your using works, but not real goal for what to make?

I could help with a story, but when it comes to visual novels art is the heaviest requirement and the most expensive. Presumably as a programmer you don't need my knowledge of renpy to put it together.
I can figure out most of the programming items myself but I always accept any tips people want to give as for the writing, we could talk in my DMs if you like
