are the new enemies just spiders? The picture in the game has plants but it's not in the game, is that specifically for the paid version?

There are spiders, spiderlings (from eggs after sex with a spider), duo spiderlings, this wall spider thing with 2 scenes and a like flower zombie runner thing. Allongside that the paid version gives the option to view the gallery after beating the game.

it is located just after the spider zone in the paid version

then the paid version is further along than the free one? Doesn't the paid version only have the advantage of having a gallery and animation?

Oh never mind it seems like it had changed since i played the new update but yes uh the paid version now does only include the gallery after finishing the game and the death animations. This does mean that if you have the newest version after the spiders you should see that flower runner zombie thing.
