hey, im glad you enjoyed the physics and movement since, yes, they are very jank. For the quicksand, the goal for those set of levels was never to kill the player, but to slow them down. With the satisfaction hopefully coming from the faster completion of the levels (thats why i have a timer system). I mean, you can beat ulltrakill or tears of the kingdom by only using a couple of the tools they give you, but its not half as fun. You can't actually drown in the quicksand, but (i think) the option given to the player to skip across or go across slower would bring more fun in itself. i told my friend she will play it as soon as she gets her pc back, great game ngl but sadly itchio algo shit only boosts "first person psx horror" with a jpeg for a jumpscare each 5 seconds... hope you make more improvments i would suggest a boss you run away from or maybe a level with a bigger twist like a riding something, not the best of ideas but what to add in a nearly perfect game i cant find many things
