The graphics look nice, but I see some flaws in other aspects of the game.

For example, the camera snapping makes the game a little bit too unforgiving, you end up having to make blind jumps and getting your character stuck on walls without being able to see where it actually is because of it or walls/obstacles being out of camera.

Also, the game is very difficult for both its platforming aspect and the fact that there are basically no checkpoints since whenever you die, you get send back to the previous level/scene, not the current one.

I can understand the challenge that is meant to come with the "backtracking" concept and the platforming aspect of the game, but making the game unfair in some of its aspects might make the game frustrating to play rather than challenging, and might scare players off the game almost immediatly.

Again, the graphics and game itself is nice though, and might be made better with two quick fixes:

  • zoom the camera out in each fixed "room" or scene, so to let players see part of the next scene they are about to enter and avoid them being killed by obstacles they cannot even see
  • make the checkpoints work for the current "level" rather than making the player start from the previous level when it dies, so that players won't lose all their progress and theefore also lose motivation to continue playing the game.

Keep up the good work :D

Thank you so much for the feedback :D I will take this into account and may fix some issues in the game. :)
