Mannn it has been some time since I last played the original Encounter, I enjoyed the snippets of story we get, especially with the ending cards, and though this visual novel didn't have it I can't really complain much because I enjoyed the story we get. Especially with the added plotline of us being Jeremy's friend because I think in the previous one we were just a bystander? I could be wrong lol it has been some time now.

Despite that, I enjoyed myself with this remake and how we learn more about Jeremy, from the two endings I got (because I couldn't bear to be rude to poor bby Jeremy) I like how subtle he was about his obsession towards the player, the drawn out moment where he watches you from the aisle like he's trying to observe the current you versus the past you that he knows well, and how we get to learn not just Jeremy's personality but also his past is very intriguing and it sets up a good background for his current personality.

Frankly, I think this boy is heavily traumatized and needs therapy and a good support network, and sadly Jeremy seems to lack it since he probably doesn't make enough money to afford psychiatric help and due to his reputation in their neighborhood it would be difficult...

Regardless, you did great with this remake! I thoroughly enjoyed learning more about Jeremy!

Im so glad you enjoyed the game, and yes the player pretty much used to be just a bystander more than anything else. I genuinely loved reading through this, thank you for leaving a comment :)
