hello do you know how to get the mic to work in mac? i can't make it work in anyway, it doesn't pick up even when I choose the mic

The best way I figured out how to make the mic work on Mac was to open the program through the terminal. I checked the mic if it worked by speaking normally and it did. Just can't close the terminal afterwards since it's running it

Kay, I did it by right-clicking on the application and then selecting show contents. Open the folder that says macOS. You'll find the terminal executable there and run it. The program should open and the mic will work that way. I've tried it, and it works.
