I am a little bit of a map junkie never really finding what I'm looking for. I'm more into the forestry than farming aspects of FS and I get into different productions from the forestry lines as well. I really liked the Silverrun map for this. When I look for a map what I really like to see is a highway system that has a purpose and makes sense. So many maps have roads that just wander. A good highway system will make the map seem larger or smaller depending upon how it's laid out. Alma, Missouri is a good example of a standard size map that feels much bigger due to layout. Griffin Indiana is another good layout. The ElmCreek Layout is pretty good with the highway layout but has an almost European feel rather than American due to the layout of everything else although it isn't a bad map all things considered. I look for a map with a town that is small but realistic with a purpose. Towns have Houses, Gas Stations, Banks, Grocery Stores and at least one sell point and an industry of some sort. They also need an area for the town to grow. I like a little industrial park for this. Good American road markings are nice to help with the immersion. I love watching map projects. Good luck with this one.

Spot on with this, im european, but would love a highway on a map for when you have a big farm to transport grains with a semi truck.. Elmcreek does feel european its just the roads that are different then normal.. Like small bridges on the map they don't make sense.. I hope fs25 can be a little better with basegame maps..
