In my case, hardware acceleration was the issue. Simply toggling it switches from 1 fps to butter, but I didn't wanna mess with the rest of the websites, so quickly downloaded chrome just to play itchio games and everything worked by default 💁♂️
I specifically turned that setting off because it breaks my computer for some unknown reason, when I have it enabled youtube will randomly freeze up and kill my computer
