This is an unique little take at using environment and effects to create a horror experience. I think 'experience' isn't euphemistic as digital art doesn't necessarily need to be highly interactive to convey certain moods and narratives. Whilst there wasn't much interactivity the core idea of being trapped in a cell and only being able to guess what horrors lurk unseen from visual clues and sound effects is a fun one. I think that this is a cool idea and I'd definitely like to see this setting explored more! As far as feedback, maybe some more animation or environmental storytelling could have added further ideas behind the setting that the player could interpret, even as simple as some moving shadows.

Thanks for submitting this game to the SCREAM EMPIRE game jam!

Thank you so much for your comments! 🤗

I'm totally agree with you about the "experience denomination". My intention was to play with the power of the imagination showing the minimum possible leaving the player totally defenseless (as it would be in reality) and see what each person's response to the situation would be.

Of course, it would be desirable to have more interactivity or context, as you said... maybe in the next scream jam? 😈
