This is the craziest mastering I've ever seen :D

I'd be curious to hear the basic version, without the time stretch and pitch.

By the way, the mix is excellent, but the reverb in the mastering is a bit too much for my taste.

I love the chords you've used. They're surprising and confusing, but we never feel like we're going anywhere. It feels like you're taking us for a ride, but you know what you're doing. It's very cool to listen to.

There's a Persona 5 vibe and I really love what you composed here.

Thank you so much!

I went a bit overboard with the reverb on the master bus, wanted to do it like in the vaporwavey stuff but probably should've EQ'd the reverb so it doesn't muddy up so much.

Here's the sort of "original mix" before i started to do stretching and pitching with other effects on the master. The synth lead is a bit too loud in the chorus on this. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/q3tjy8zopyptqieju3jwz/City-Nights-original-mix.wa...

This was very loosely inspired by japanese fusion bands like T-Square and Casiopea, so probably some of the same influence in the music in Persona series (haven't played any persona games yet, but going to start after i play through all the yakuza games).
