Very nice take on theme, the game is pretty challenging yet fun. Visually speaking, were you inspired by Mario at all? The player kinda looks similar to his sprite from SMB1.
Thanks for the comment! Glad you liked the game. And yeah, between Mario Wonder and some SMB1 mods I've been playing, I've been on a bit of a Mario kick lately, so the sprite was definitely inspired by Mario.
