I'm really sorry about that, the idea is that you should be able to just play the next update and continue with the story, but since the game is an early beta, I had to go back and change stuff of the past, so I had to restart some stories to add new functionality and such
However, with this update (checkpoints) I completed basically everything I wanted to have in stories so I should be able to avoid doing that from now on
