1. Hi there! What's your name? Want to introduce yourself?

Hey! I'm Pepebeto, but people tend to call me Pepe, which is also fine!

2. Did you participate in the last jam we held? If so, what do you plan on doing better this time? If not, what's your reason for joining?

This is my first time in this jam, and also my first time in any jam in general. I recently decided to develop my own games and I want to experience a game jam so I can share my work with other devs.

3. What games are your favorites? Did any of them inspire you, or made you want to make your own?

I love platformers and action adventure games! I love the ones made by Nintendo, but I'm always looking into the indie scene for games that take inspiration from them and also bring something new to the table. As for now, I recently played the GBA kirby games and I would like to make a game that resembles the relaxing and fun vibe that those games offer as much as I can.

4. Do you have experience with game development? What did you do/with what engine?

I have been tinkering with GameMaker Studio for the past 2 or 3 months, making little prototypes that I would love to make again from scratch with everything that I have learned and finally finish something.

5. Tell us about something you're passionate about!

I really want to make games. Since I was a little kid I always thought that game developing was so hard that there was no way I could do it. This year I just gave it a try and I was amazed at everything that I was capable of, and now I don't want to stop. The fact that I have so much to learn both scares me and excites me.

The learning part of dev is the most challenging and rewarding part of it! It's nice to meet you, Pepe, I hope you can learn a lot this jam!
