Congratz for your first jam!! And glad I could stop a decade long onslaught! The idea of companion was onspot, even if planning for moves was a bit hard, I ended up spamming both bullets F & space and focusing solely on avoiding the remaining projectile.. The display could use some rework, the fullscreen was weird, and the windows was too small to see all the information. The background (beautiful!) was also maybe too saturated, and made it a bit hard to see the actual dynamic elements of the game (player, projectiles, and so on). Keep up the good work!
