In the description of RPG MAKER MZ it is written: Tile size can be selected from “16x16”, “24x24”, “32x32”, and “48x48”. The new tile resolution options facilitate the use of RPG Maker VX and VXAce tile sets (32x32) and custom assets.
so it should work.
