Chapter 2 spoilers!
As frustrating as Mylo was in this chapter, it's actually understandable. Like, toxic relationships aren't easy to get out of, and the way that Jakob makes him promise that he loves him in the way that he does isn't normal.
Also, Mylo's self destructive tendencies of pushing people away + attaching himself to Jakob just makes it feel that much more realistic.
In short, very good chapter!
