We lost our old man dog to his age and an injury last year around this time, so I commiserate with you on the way that throws a whole giant wrench into everything going on.

I really liked the mini version of Tea and Crumpets and look forward to seeing what's done with the new once it's ready to show off!

It's definitely in late Alpha maybe Early Beta right now and I am beyond excited. We've fleshed out a ton of mechanics that--frankly--needed it and even wrote out an entire campaign in broad strokes for the book that includes more than Earl Grey and his Terrible Roses, expanded the Heart Mechanics, fleshed out the Magical Girl Powers, did a ton of world building, and added in some very important relationship mechanics! So, hopefully it lives up to expectations.

And yeah, it was kind of the same with my dog. I was at work when I got the call that he'd fallen down the stairs. He'd been having some issues and was restless but we figured he was just old. But when I heard his breathing over the phone I left work and we took him to the vet. They think it was age and a brain tumor. I think he had a rare tumor that caused his face muscles to waste away like they did. I still can't believe he's gone and am still figuring out how to carry on without him. I had him from the day he was born and just can't fathom this world without him...
