Hey! Nice game! I’m curious to know if you considered using a hex grid rather than a square grid for combat? And how do you think a hex grid would change the game mechanics and combat strategies?
I didn't make it a hexgrid because I wanted the combat to feel small and for range to matter, even in a 4x4 space. With a hexgrid, many more spaces are adjacent or within range than a square grid, where diagonal spaces would be considered range 2.
