1. Compared to other solo journaling games, it leaves too much to the imagination and doesn't give a good foundation for creating the world you are playing in. Plus, many of the rules were too vague and hard to follow or started okay, then fell apart when you put them into play.  It would have been nice to have a worksheet that outlined the play steps. I used Apothecary and Stardew Valley as bases for rewriting the system to make a little more sense.  I tried to use as many of the charts that were provided as possible. You are welcome to read through the rewrite here. It's not perfect, but it made the game more playable for me and my friend, who likes to play solo adventure games. 

2. I appreciated the story at the beginning; the poems were lovely, and the art was pretty. The way to create the goblin friends you meet was a well-written part of the game that played right.
