Could you maybe state where this explanation is? I've been stuck on the puzzle as well and I've reloaded some older saves to try and locate any hints but haven't found any or at least I've misunderstood them
Went back and started a new game, I see what you mean now. Considering the gap between the use of the mechanic and the explanation I think it might be a good idea to put a reminder somewhere, but that's just my two cents. Thank you!
