Thank you, I personally prefer art drawn by an actual artist, it would come out cheaper considering how much time I have to spend on SD and photoshop to make these. But unfortunately finding an artist that I can rely on proved impossible.
I like the idea of TTS, my plan however was hiring voice actors once the game gathers a big enough following. It's too early though.

That's just how I would do it ^_^. I thought there must be many games made in a similar style, but for some reason it is not the case. Also I wanted to compliment you work with hands and clothes, I know how much efforts went into it!

Since I know the reason, let me share it with you: The main hurdle is consistency. AI often generates stunning images, but none of them are consistent with each other, and a game demands a coherent style and often multiple images of the same characters, and since humans are good at spotting inconsistencies in faces and bodies, the results are often too jarring to use.
