The game is good. But I'm confused as to why this game is labeled as an Otome game even though it feels Yaoi/BL. The protagonist looks and acts like a man; there are no female features at all, and they are referred to as Prince too.

Thank you for the feedback and for playing our game. We have chosen to select an otome tag, as Perrin although disguised as a man at the beginning of the game, identifies as a woman. Her gender presentation is moreso tied to her familial situation rather than her gender identity, and we plan to incorporate more of the otome-like feel as we further develop the game and introduce the Love Interests.

We were inspired by a lot of the genderbend otome out there and wanted to try making something akin to the trope. Additionally Perrin herself is just tomboyish in nature and had she been allowed to live as a woman, she would still have masculine personality traits.

If the reasons behind Perrin’s presentation are not super apparent in the story (like why she is called Prince), we would love to hear more details so we can improve the writing when we update the game next.

Please let us know if you have any more questions!
