If I stacked all of the notebooks I've scribbled through,
I could go to the moon,
I could shelter the homeless.
If I took away all of the time I've spent writing,
I would be a child again but my heart would be searching forever.
My creativity,
has gotten away from me.
Pages written from the lemons that I'm given.
Years and years I write,
I write away my life.
It takes too long they bellow,
but I don't mind
I'm sippin' my Lemoncello.
Head in the Clouds
Looking up at the most beautiful meteor shower made John's neck hurt. He has the idea to bring his bean bag chair outside and plop down, but falls asleep. He wakes up to helicopters flying by, and finds himself looking down over a baseball field with people down below pointing up at him on a giant beanstalk. He clings to the most beautiful plant in his garden until he is rescued.
It rained last night when John fell asleep in the bean bag chair, a chair with a magic bean in it.
The towns folk were quick to decide that they would send their finest, and John could tag along. They fastened their ropes and hooks and ascended as far as they could up to the top of the sprout until they reached the top.
"There is no castle up here," exclaimed one angry person. "This is useless, no golden eggs either," lamented everyone else.
John hung his head, his neck folded down like a sad goose. He couldn't understand the disappointment.
He explained, "Maybe, if we water it we can get a flower, and if enough bees pollinate that we can get another bean. But there was never, ever going to be a castle up here."
"This is miraculous, they've got their head in the clouds," he thought.
The moon glows halfway,
like an eye closing,
it starts to wane,
and wink at,
the things that I'm doing,
I wonder what it thinks.
I don't need to see the whole thing.
I don't need any glowing,
I'm sure of where I'm going.

Howdy!
My name is Sarah, and I'm a writer and actively write everyday (especially on holidays) for the past 10 years. Legend has it, I would scribble in notebooks and tell adults "lets have a conbersation" before I could walk, but I've seen the scribbles and they aren't very good.
I consider my story telling style as more of a classic, sit around a fire type of narrative. I like to customize the way I tell a story for each telling- highlighting and omitting. For example, Head in the Clouds is one of my stories but I can keep it short and simple or ham it up and that version was written just for you. I also wrangled a few of my poems.
I would love to work with you and your team, to bring the inklings to life.
