There was a whole flash game series called "shift" dedicated to this idea. I doubt you had more ideas, as it's not even yours
I didn't know the Flash game Shift, and no body has pointed that out to me until you. Thanks to you, now I know :)
Also I agree Shift is a much more polished and interesting game than mine.
Innovation is hard man. Not easy to make something completely new like Kojima did with the strand type game.
