Wow, like others have said, this is super elegant. I love the mechanic of being forced to swap a weapon in exchange for a heal. I’d often get greedy to hold onto a good weapon and end up getting low on health forcing me to swap. I love the attack patterns of the bosses too. Shooting smaller squares that shoot smaller squares at my square, very neat.
The minimalist presentation works super well. The little particle bursts and the little ‘ping’ that happens when you’re at 1HP is great. This is a small thing, but I love how the background of the itch page is white too, so it looks like the game almost bleeds onto the edges of the canvas. Really nice work, I loved this game!
