Just so you know, my PC terminated the game download due to a "detected virus" in the game files. It likely will do that for anyone that tries to download it. Any idea why?

It's a Windows issue, not a game issue. Mine downloaded and works perfectly fine.

Im just letting them know because its probably going to disuade people from downloading it when they see that warning from Windows. Trying to be helpful lol.

I'm not the developer of this game, but yeah, totally valid. I just haven't had the issue myself.

It looks like that's been an ongoing issue with downloading from itch.io for a while now; I'll try a few things, but it will most likely just be an issue for a few people no matter what :(
