This was great. The stock images gave it an almost unhinged magazine-clipping ransom note kind of vibe, but more wacky/surreal than scary. Really nicely done.

I liked the frogs throughout, which kind of helped add a sense a purpose/cohesiveness to the process. I also thought you did a great job with the colliders and maintaining sensible boundaries without always sticking to hard lines in the images.

Honestly, I think my only complaints were the awkwardness of jumping (not terrible, but could be better) and the fact that there wasn’t a crazy animation or ostensibly profound ending to cap everything often after going into the sun.

Great job!

Thank you!! I spent quite a bit of time cutting all those frogs out of their backgrounds (and kept finding new cool poses), but I knew I wanted some small form of "guide" throughout the randomness, so I'm very happy to hear this landed with you.

I can only agree with your complaints. After working on it throughout the jam I was definitely more comfortable with the jump than anyone would be trying it out first time, and I think I probably should've at least lowered the gravity on the little bug just to make it more forgiving. And maybe rather than a wacky secret room, I could've just made that the win screen. But so we learn!

Really appreciate your feedback, thanks again!
