I played the game as ticket feedback request. The mechanic of crier was good and I can see the art remind me of NES style.

I think the theme could be a little more work on the concept. I can see the idea of spreading the word of crier to the population, but the theme is "it is spreading". So what precise are ya really spreading here?

I think it can be improved by having the NPCs spread the word themselves and perhaps have different words for different kind of people or crisis to solve. Have some guards as enemies could impact on the gameplay loop so ya run around with a timer and avoid the guards while the NPC is doing the work for the player.
That could be a interesting route.  But ofc that is entirely up to ya.

Thanks for the feedback!  The NPCs do spread the word amongst themselves after you've told them, but I can see how that's not clear in the game.  Maybe it would be more clear if I zoomed out the view and you could see the NPCs talking to each other?


It's cool that you mention different crises to solve because that's where I was planning on taking the game if I work on it more.
