You build a convincing game world for  your game, feels really like coming from these days. Also like  your 3rd person choice, always prefer this one over 1st person view. There are many good details in there as well, like the music changing in "chase" mode and going back to normal, and the question marks for alarmed guards, filling up to a point where they get into the chase mode. This is all really well crafted. Same goes for the in-game tutorial. In such a short time many have to skip this one, but it is so important if you want to give players a chance to get into your game in the short time of attention which is so typical for Jams.

On the con side, I see the the same points SHARKsudio was mentioning already. Despite my best efforts, I wasn't even able to enter the palace with the knife (I was close, but yeah..., knowing how many guards would have awaited me inside, I lost motivation to try any further). Also in the very beginning I thought I already have to avoid the guards, only to realise that they show no reaction. Before I eventually got it, I thought the game is somehow broken.

For the "pretty hard game" part, I think a quicksave  might have made made me keep going and trying. But again, in such a short time, this is a very big feature one can not expect to be in game.
