First of all, I'm actually glad to see someone else interpreting the theme in a very very similar way (I'm sorry btw) and your game fits the theme very well, because there is no joy in this torture. You made it pretty hard with the timing, and I can tell you why:
1. The jumps are rrrreally pinpoint!! Look at your arch (red) compared to more buffer on either sides (green). I know it can seem easy to cross if you make the jumps easier, but players love that compared to this fail 29 times out of 30 jumps. Seriously. Study this image, because your arches are pinpoint...
2. The reason why control seems so hard is because the player moves fast and you have to be really aware (at all 30 frames inside 1 second) to see when exactly to jump, because during that 1 second you move a lot in that (red) jump/land buffer, and if you don't get close enough you can't make the jump, only if you move very close to the edge and with this move speed it's verrrry hard to time it just right :(
Otherwise the atmosphere is amazingly done, you have some visual talent, for sure!! AUDIO!!!! Even some cheap midi sounds would create more atmosphere than nothing at all... Never skip audio, only if your game is based around that.
I love how you (similarly to me in my game) picked apart the "pieces" which make up the character, but you chose the negative emotions (which the liar game says would turn to joy lol)
Please keep working on this game, and make it into a full one! It has potential!!
