Very interesting they mention the "Citizens with Disabilities Act" (Americans with Disabilities Act) not applying to cybernetics modding. Me and my coworkers talked about this a lot since we work in the disability field and are interested in these kinds of things. It makes sense to me though, as if you had your hand chopped off from an accident or attack, and had it replaced by a robot hand that was no doubt expensive and requires maintenance and could be a liability during very cold or very hot weather... Even if the hand had major advantages, it would still be considered a disability under the ADA as it's essentially just a high end prosthetic. But if you willingly went out of your way to have your hand deliberately cut off and replaced with a robot hand, then any and all drawbacks stemming from having one are implicitly your sole responsibility and it should not be considered a disability. That's my thoughts about it. This game really makes one think a lot. The worldbuilding is highly immersive so far.
