This is a very simple game, and it's all the better for it. It has a few levels, platforms, and enemies that act as landing challenges. It doesn't have modular height jumps or grace jumps, but these are compensated by it having a double air jump (for a total of three). Levels are short, so restarts don't hurt too badly.
The theme is subtly added to the end of the game. Without spoiling anything, the game cheats you at the end. But you never know it's there until you get there, which is the way deception should be. Betrayal should be and feel unexpected. And it this game, it kinda does. Well done for that.
The game is graphically more or less coherent, except the background and the PFX that are not pixel art. With that said, it's very low res, frequently stretched and barely animated. The grass has 2 frames, for instance, The character jump also does and they are very stiff.
The music doesn't loop properly and it's quite bothersome and repetitive over time.
An enjoyable entry from my perspective. Except the music, that's evil. :D
