Yo! I love beat 'em ups :) -- this was quite fun. I really liked the visual style and juice. The differentiation between dodgeable and non-dodgeable attacks felt underutilized (and since the symbol was "!" for both, I had a hard time making the split second decision to dodge vs jump - I'd suggest changing that symbol at least), so I ended up jumping everything. If dodge gave a slow-mo mode or something that would incentivize more of a variation between jumping/dodging. Fun submission though, nice work :)
