Hmm, it shouldn't be too hard to get. Do you mean you managed to get on the romantic path with Fred, but couldn't get this ending? Or upi tried to romance him and nothing came of your attempt?
If it is the former, can I ask how far you got in the romance?
If it is the latter, can I ask if you picked the menu option to open it? The "—fills me with a strange sense of longing..." option, on day 2? From that point on, you need to pick the flirtatious/caring options and if you have enough points there should be a confrontation that sets you firmly on that path by day 7.
