I don't really know for sure why thick eyebrows are that important either. But they awakened something in me. I guess it's probably because they seem manly and quirky, which I'm a sucker for.

Hell yeah! I freaking love curly hair so much 🥵

I'm like a crazy cat lady! The difference is that I'd be surrounded by Doumas if they existed! Yep, crazy Douma fan! My twitter and tumblr is full of Douma related stuff lmao

I love how Douma is an oni, a creature from japanese mythology. So I searched for creatures from all kinds of foreign mythology to base on. Louhi is an Upir/Upior/Upier/Upyr(there are many ways to spell that), which is a ghoulish/vampiric creature from slavic mythology. They explode into various maggots when you kill them hence why Louhi has lots of maggots living inside his body.

I also wanted the player to think of Louhi as a grotesque being and remind them of a walking corpse so I made maggots live inside his body and gave him a rotting flesh odor when he gets hungry and corpse like skin color.

Great that you can understand me buddy! Crazy undead cannibal men turn me on so hard! The sense of danger is the hottest thing in the world(I think lots of people will agree with me on that)! It's like you're dancing with death! You're walking on tiptoes with these guys. One wrong word and you're dead. Another meal for them.

Heck yeah! Love me some rebel man! I love how Cherry is a meaningful name that fits his design! Louhi's name is actually based on finnish mythology and it's a reference to his disease-spreading powers:

It's actually a girls name, but I think it fits him to a T 👌

Later I'll make a post talking more in depth about all the inspirations I got to create Louhi.

And I'm glad the issue could be fixed by playing the game in fullscreen. I also thought it was a mac vs win issue. I was getting very concerned there about it. Glad it could be solved.
