I believe itch.io is a place to express your creativity and capabilities. Personally I think using AI for anything is published here, just beats the original purpose.

What comes to mind whenever this topic comes around is:

Why use AI here? Are you trying to win popularity/money?
Are you not capable of publishing a game prototype with the mindset of “this is not a AAA game”?
Are you incapable of producing any product by your own?

I’m not trying to make money. What I’m trying to do is make a fun video game using the tools that I will like need to use when working for a major company. For better or worse I personally don’t see a world where the use of AI isn’t majorly used in this industry so I just want to mess around with it to learn about it. That’s just my opinion though and you have the right to yours as well but you don’t need to assume someone means the worst when they ask a question about rules
