Yeah, as a male, I think an erogame that appeals to both male and female players is a fantastic idea. Though I'm okay with them sticking to heroines lol, I love their design lots more
The original idea I wanted to do and what I prototyped was being able to choose a male or female character to play as.
The premise was that your family just finished a divorce and depending on your choice would also select what parent you went with.
Eventually I realized that this idea alone made the game absolutely massive in scope and way too far and way outside what I was capable of. So focusing more on what the H-Game market was missing more of (Female Protagonist Games) at the time I moved it to one character and providing something that both men and women could enjoy. Even if it is more leaning towards stuff guys would like.
My plan for Uni 2 (Which is final game on our H-Game Roadmap; so that game is likely decades away) is to allow the player to select if they play as a male or female character; much closer to the original prototype.
