most of the time when a game is released on multiple platforms, you only get the version on the one platform you bought it on. he said that the itch version will get the steam update its just gonna be a little late so it seems like there will be feature parity aside from the things which rely on steam

Not all updates are coming according to the dev. Multi-player will be missing. I'm OK with staying on itch but the dev should maintain feature parity
