decided to check on this again and actually got something. it's not good but it explains where the creator might be and if the game could ever end up getting an update. also it's actual news lol.
so basically the creator went missing entirely. he hasn't responded to ANYONE in 5 months nor has he logged in to any of his accounts in those 5 months either, and according to the artist for the game he hasn't been paid yet because of it, also this was after the creator got a commission of 1k to do something and then said he was taking a break for a little bit but since then no one has heard of him. uncertain if this means he ran off with the money and abandoned the game or if my earlier guess of homelessness is what has him missing. no one knows but it's a very high chance this will never get an update. sorry y'all.
I really hope he's ok and this was just a big problem/misunderstanding and he can pay the artists and continue stuff, but it's almost literally impossible for that to be what's going on.
