I love to see how modern game design can work on these old systems, often without significant compromises. This shows us that advancements have been made not only due to better hardware, but also more experience in what works (and the freedom from corporate pressure).
On the other hand, it impressive how many of the old games hold up after all these decades, still providing hours of entertainment.
