The game is made with GDevelop game engine. GDevelop does not support shadows on other objects. Using a light object in GDevelop can help get shadows in the game on other objects but the game will not look nice because using a light in GDevelop will give a different visual effect to the game and not a natural visual effect of sun light. So, Power Engine Power is like a old school style computer game with a modern look and feel. It is not a simulator like Gran Turismo which is available for Playstation. According to me the controls of the game are fine because it is a very fast car which accelerates very fast. So, the radius of the car taking the turn at greater speed will be more compared to lesser speed. The car can be thought of having all-terrain tyres and the slow down of the car on grass is not noticeable and is negligible because the game is not a simulator. If you still don't get the point then leave it to your imagination. You can imagine things like the surface is painted with the grass colour or it is just a different world in the game. According to me the game is nice and does not need any polish. I appreciate your interest in the game and thank you very much for playing the game. The music in the game has a CC0 license. I think all of your questions about the game are answered.
