This was just adorable :) The music fit perfectly, and the little bonus level at the end was a nice touch.
The only misstep (heh) was that it didn't match the theme very well. Other than that excellent work!

As for the theme, I got the game idea when I saw "to become indistinguishable" as a definition of merge. But I see that this is rather different from how most people understood the theme.
