Was thinking the same thing, as it has been roughly 6 months of "mothing". Checked the Patreon and there was a (paywalled) preview of EP7, so I'd say there is a small sliver of hope.
I believe its more a linear story with small branches only. Or you mean they may have started without having an overall idea of the full story? That would be a shame.
