You could look into the ITO material that inspired this for examples, some of the backgrounds for both Electric Bastionland and Cairn 2e can start with abilities that could definitely become traits, even some of the items could probably be reskinned as such.
You could also look into mythic Bastionland, it’s currently on kickstarter but there’s a QuickStart that’s public ally available, some of the knights abilities could definitely work as traits. While you’re there check out the system on onslaughts, really helps spice up combat in ITO games in my opinion.
